The guests of the Muslim Scouts Union meet with the advisor of the permanent representative of the Kingdom to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation “Al-Anzi”

The Advisor to the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Saleh Al-Anzi, met this morning at the headquarters of the International Federation of Muslim Scouts, the guests of the Union, members of the Programs and Activities Committee, and the Union, who are present these days to hold the first meeting of the Committee in Makkah Al-Mukarramah

During the meeting, Al-Enezi conveyed the greetings of the Kingdom’s permanent representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, stressing that the union will witness development in the coming days, pointing at the same time to the efforts made by the Secretary-General of the Federation, Dr. Zuhair bin Hussein Ghoneim, to serve Muslim scouts around the world.

In addition, the members of the Programs and Activities Committee of the World Federation of Muslim Scouts arrived in Saudi Arabia in preparation for holding the first committee meeting in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, led by the Chairman of the Committee, Dr. Muhammad bin Qayed Al-Hazazi, and under the direct supervision of the Secretary-General of the Federation, Dr. Zuhair Min Hussein Ghoneim.

The committee will discuss what has been included in the agenda to take a set of recommendations and submit them to the General Secretariat of the Union

The members of the committee, who came from different countries, performed Umrah on the sidelines of their presence in Makkah Al-Mukarramah. The delegation also visited, within the program accompanying the meeting, the headquarters of the King Abdulaziz Complex for the manufacture of the covering of the Holy Kaaba in Makkah Al-Mukarramah. A delegation was briefed on the stages of knitting the Kaaba dress, and they recorded an experience in hand-knitting a dress.

The Programs and Activities Committee, chaired by Dr. Muhammad Al-Hazazi from Saudi Arabia, includes: Mesfer Al-Ghobashi, Hanan Felemban from Saudi Arabia, Ahmed Traori from the Ivory Coast, Najib Hashid from Algeria, Abdulaziz Abu Alfa from Jordan, and Sarhan Benkhoud from Tunisia.
